I am Emily Porter. I enjoy taking photographs and working on the occasional design project. Other things I enjoy include: the cat I live with, the cat I used to live with, music, not having cable, celebrity gossip, science, museums, science museums, and informational graphics. I consider myself a crab rangoon connoisseur. I love my family - my dad is a professional musician, my mother is a principal at an elementary school. I also have a sister in 9th grade and a 6 year-old brother. I graduated from Ohio University in 2006 with a B.S. in Visual Communication. My focus area was Interactive Multimedia, though I spent a lot of spare time taking photographs and camping out in the darkrooms. I also minored in Anthropology. I am very interested in documentary photography and interactive media in museum settings.
